Our high quality standards ensure that EXPONA COMMERCIAL design floor coverings meet all the requirements in terms of sustainability and a healthy indoor climate. All floor coverings are regularly tested for emissions and they consistently achieve the best levels as laid down in strict guidelines.
In France, product tests are performed using the test method in accordance with ISO 16000 and the emissions behaviour of VOCs is assessed. All EXPONA flooring has been given the best rating A+.
EXPONA design flooring has the “Indoor Air Comfort Gold” rating. This certificate issued by Eurofins is awarded to products with VOC emission levels below any globally determined VOC limits. All EXPONA flooring is also 100%
recyclable and can be reused in materials and fuel. The recycled materials are integrated into new production insofar as this is possible.
As a member of the European Resilient Flooring Manufacturer’s Institute (ERFMI), objectflor – a subsidiary of James Halstead plc – supports the goal of sustainable building and has drawn up an environmental product declaration (EPD) for the flooring EXPONA COMMERCIAL. EXPONA floorings have been assessed in accordance with the EN 15804 programme of the “Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V.” (IBU) for ecological building assessment.
EXPONA floorings hold FloorScore, BRE and LEED Credits certification around the world.
